“Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated India” Movements
Utthan Samiti- A ray of hope is very much determined to make its campaign “Clean, Green Healthy and Educated India” a success. Children are our future and if they are aware about the need of the hour then we will be successful in our campaign. Keeping this in mind Utthan is giving special attention to children and making them aware about our campaign.
For this Utthan is trying to Make four groups among children “Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated” and organise a competition among them and honour and encourage the winners.
Clean India- Making children aware and organising G.K. and Drawing competitions among them. Making them aware about hygiene and encouraging them to keep their surroundings clean. And also, to give them awards time to time to encourage them. To teach children about how to clean their home and surroundings and to ask others also not to throw garbage on streets or here and there. And they should also make their data bank and update information on it about what they did on this campaign. It would be better if they also take some photos of their work. On these bases only, the children will be awarded.
Green India- Making children aware and organising G.K. and Drawing competitions among them. Making them aware to plant more trees and encourage them to make greener environment. And also, to give them awards time to time to encourage them. To teach children to plant trees in their locality and also to encourage other people for the same. And they should also make their data bank and update information on it about what they did on this campaign. It would be better if they also take some photos of their work. On these bases only, the children will be awarded.
Take children for a nature walk in nearby forests etc. and to make them aware about benefits and uses of different trees present there. To ask them to celebrate different occasions and festivals by planting trees and to gift sapling to others.
Healthy India- To organise free health check-up camps in slum areas and make people aware about the importance of being healthy. Making children aware and organising G.K. and Drawing competitions among them. Making them aware about sanitation and encourage them for cleanliness. And also, to give them awards time to time to encourage them. To teach children about the importance of sanitation and to tell them that clean body is a healthy body and also ask them to encourage other people to keep their surroundings clean. And they should also make their data bank and update information on it about what they did on this campaign. It would be better if they also take some photos of their work. On these bases only, the children will be awarded.
Educated India- If we want to make people aware about cleanliness, greenery and health then we need to make them educated.

Utthan is also organising Street Plays, Award ceremonies, Seminars and Cultural Programmes to make people aware about Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated India. Utthan Samiti also organises Cultural Programmes to protect Indian Culture and Tradition.
To protect trees Utthan also celebrates Raksabandhan as “Vraksh Raksha Pran Diwas” in which people tie rakhi on trees and take pledge to protect them because trees are most important. Utthan also organises Tree Plantation drives from time to time.
Utthan Samiti also honour different people who are working for the betterment of the society outstandingly with “Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Award”. It also honours other people who are working for the society with “Utthan India Award”.
Utthan Samiti (A Ray of Hope). and running campaign “Clean, Green, Healthy, & Educated India” in Schools /college and RWA’s for awareness about Pollution and to Save Environment.
- Distributed Garbage Bins to RWA’s for awareness about our Clean.
- Distributed Plant saplings and Run Tree Plantation drive to aware about Green.
- Various competitions held in schools/colleges among students on national level about our campaign.
- Distributed Cotton /Jute / Bags to aware about polythene disadvantages and pollution.
- We through our NGO Utthan build a network of Environmental Education Experts as a robust network of teachers who plan, coordinate, and implement environmental programs for their school students and staff. However, an understanding of the many factors that influence the environment, particularly the impact of people, is critical for maintaining and improving environmental quality. Our environment includes its natural and built elements as well as its social and cultural aspects- it is air, water, and land; it is plants and animals; and it is people, their communities, and their social and cultural values.
- UTTHAN SAMITI has initiated and started ‘UTTHAN NATARAJ SAMMAN’ to celebrate the achievers of New India from different walks of life and also to motivate other people working for welfare and development of society. This award was given to those who are excelling in their category specially in the fields of Art and literature as well as in social works. This award would motivate them as well as other people also to come forward for the welfare of the society.
