Satendra Singh (born on 11 November 1970) is an Indian social activist working on various crucial social and environmental issues raised by Men and Women facing injustice in India. He is an alumnus of Christ Church College Kanpur U.P. India.
Satendra Singh is the founder member of the 15 years old people's movement called “Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated India” Movements in three states: Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and NCR. “Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated India” Movements has been engaged in a struggle for environment for the people affected by the pollution. Especially those who are suffering from asthma, heart disease, cholesterol, high BP or any other disease. He is also one of the founders of the Utthan Samiti (A Ray of Hope), an alliance of hundreds of progressive people's organisations. In addition to the above, Satendra Singh did a thorough research on the environmental, social, political and environmental aspects and impacts of the development of hazardous industries globally and their alternatives. He was the national co-ordinator and then convenor of “Clean, Green, Healthy and Educated India” Movements till date and now continues to be a chairman to Utthan Samiti. Under the banner of Utthan Samiti He has participated in and supported various mass struggles across India for Clean, Green and Healthy environment. His work challenges Environmental issues and all kinds of discrimination. He has been a part of numerous teams and panels that work on initiating and formulating various national policies and enactments including those related to CGWA, Pollution, Swachta in RWA’s.

Early Life, Education and Background: -
Satendra Singh belongs to Village Chatain Kala, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to Smt. Manorama Singh and Shri Sheetla Prashad Singh, who was a bank employee. His grandfather, Late Shri Shiv Prashad Singh, was a respected zamindar and a leading personality across 27 villages of Tehsil Shahganj.
He completed his B.Sc. from Christ Church College, Kanpur, and later pursued Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai. He also holds a Labour Laws Certificate from Labour Law Institute, Delhi and has professional exposure in PoSH training, labour laws, human resources, compliance, industrial relations and social audit.
During his student life, he served as the General Secretary of the Student Council “Vidyarthi Parishad” at Christ Church College, Kanpur, where he actively raised students’ issues and participated in several student movements. His early exposure to student leadership, public concerns and community mobilisation shaped his lifelong commitment to social service and public welfare.

Political career:-
In January 1992, Satendra Singh joined the Samajwadi Party, a political party led by Mulayam Singh Yadav. He was District President of Samajwadi Party Youth wings and participated in many movements organised by Samajwadi Party.
He resigned from Samajwadi Party primary membership on 28 March 2001. And Joined Bhartiya Janta Party through Gen V K Singh MP Ghaziabad in 2014.
